San Diego, CA, June 12, 2019 – ACON Laboratories, Inc. announced today that it has been successful in obtaining an initial determination of non-infringement, as of June 4, 2019, from an administrative law judge (ALJ) of the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) in Investigation No. 337-TA-1116 regarding U.S. Patent No. 7,494,818. This particular patent is involved in an ongoing patent infringement dispute with PTS Diagnostics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sinocare (Changsha, China). This dispute involves ACON Laboratories’ Mission,® Lipid Panel Monitoring System and PTS Diagnostics’ CardioChek® lipid analyzers.
