This real-time PCR test kit is for the detection of Human leukocyte antigen B27 in whole blood. HLA-B27 is strongly associated with ankylosing spondylitis (AS) and other related inflammatory diseases, such as psoriasis, inflammatory bowel disease and reactive arthritis. Testing for HLA-B27 can aid in early diagnosis and management of these conditions.
